Prepare yourself for a unique riding experience where you will ride over Costa Rica's rich topography and deep into the forest. On this guided tour you will ride horses that are specially trained to tackle these trails.
The tour begins with a boat ride across the Papagayo Bay where you may see dolphins swimming alongside the boat. You will then drive a short distance to pick up the horses in a rural town. During the two hour ride, you can imagine being a Costa Rican rancher and enjoy the natural surroundings. Keep your eyes open for howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, reptiles, insects, and beautiful vegetation.
The Gulf of Papagayo is well known for its splendid scenic views, rolling hills and untouched tropical dry forest. This tour presents a unique opportunity to experience this rare type of tropical vegetation. At different points in the tour, there will be walking, trotting, and for those that can handle it, some galloping.
Horseback riding experience is not required to enjoy this tour. Please wear long pants and comfortable shoes. |
